Jerome Smalls- 2011 Golden Pyramid/ Keynote Speaker

The 2011 Golden Pyramid Scholars Program keynote speaker was Jerome Smalls, Vice President, Director of Community Relations, The TJX Companies, Inc.

Jerome Smalls’ career path at The TJX Companies, Inc. has spanned nearly 30 years and has taken him from Marshalls Store Clerk to Corporate Vice President. The one constant in his career is his unwavering dedication to diversity, education and enriching the lives of youth. Mr. Smalls began his corporate career as the Manager of Diversity Staffing. After moving over to lead the Community Relations team in 2005, Jerome was promoted to Vice President of Community Relations; a position he currently holds.

Jerome is a 1977 graduate of Berkeley High School in South Carolina. He is an honors graduate from Charleston Southern University of South Carolina in 1982, where he received a BS degree in political Science and a BA degree in Speech and Dramatic Arts.
